NPT Fittings
NPT is an acronym for National Pipe Taper. NPT fitting is a standardized fitting that is used for connecting pipes for fluid and gas applications. Our NPT fittings follow the technical standards provided by the American National Standard Pipe Thread standards, which are called national pipe threads.
NPT Fittings are available in carbon steel, brass, or stainless steel material for low and high pressure. NPT Fittings sizes range from 1/8” to 2” up on your request. NPT Fittings Materials
Our factory can manufacture NPT fittings in different materials including stainless steel 304, 316, brass, carbon steel, and some special materials like Monel, Alloy, and so on. You can choose materials according to your project requirements
Our factory offers MTC(Material Test Certificate) for you to test NPT Fittings pressure.
If your project environment is generally corrosive and requires high pressure and temperature, it is better to choose stainless steel 304 or 316. The temperature range is -245℃ to 649℃.
Brass materials are suitable for non-corrosive water, especially for drinking water. And they are suitable for low pressure. Temperature: -54℃ to 204℃
If your project is about grease in a non-corrosive environment and requires a low budget, suggest you choose carbon steel materials. Temperature: -29℃ to 427℃
If your project application is in strong corrosive environments like seawater, hydrofluoric acid, and HF acid plants, advise you choose special materials.

NPT fittings sizes are commonly 1/8”, 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1 1/4”, 1 1/2”, 2”, 2 1/2”.
Be careful to choose a thread size, you have to consider both the TPI and OD of the thread. As some sizes have the same TPI, so you have to measure the OD of NPT fittings to determine accurate NPT fittings sizes.
Use Thread Gauge To Measure NPT Thread
In our production shops, our workers measure every male or female thread of NPT fittings by the thread gauge when fittings are made from the lathes to check whether threads are acceptable.
