NPTLOK Hex Nipple
NPTLOK hex nipple is a short pipe with male pipe threads on both ends to be screwed into female thread fittings， which ensures a leak-free connection. Male threads are protected with plastic caps. It has a six-sided (hexagon) shape head like a nut in the center of the fitting (between the threads) for easy tightening with a wrench. It gets its name from the hexagon shape in the middle section.
The size of the hex nipple depends on the female thread size of the pipe, to which it will connect. The size range is from 1/4”-3”. If you want to measure hex nipple length, the length should include male threads on each end.
Materials of hex nipple are available in stainless steel 304, 316, brass, or carbon steel, which can resist corrosion and can be used in a wide range of environment

Hex nipple is also called ” hexagonal nipple”. A hexagonal shape like a nut is in the middle of the hex nipple. The hexagonal head is convenient to be tightened, or loosened with a standard wrench, allowing for quicker installation and disassembly. It is better operated than a round pipe nipple.
