BSPP to NPT Adapter
NPTLOK manufactures adapters, which convert BSPP (British Standard Thread) to standard NPT(National Pipe Standard). A BSPP thread is on one end of the adapter, and an NPT thread is on the other, allowing for a leak-free connection. Male pipe threads are capped for protection from damage.
NPT thread: National Pipe Thread, or National Pipe Taper. American thread tapered.
BSPP thread: British Standard Pipe Parallel called ‘Gas’ Wire. (Parallel = straight)
The body of the BSPP to NPT adapter is made from a hexagon bar, designed for standard hex wrench assembly.
Materials of BSPP to NPT adapter are available in brass, stainless steel, carbon steel, or special materials including Monel 400, alloy, and so on. The adapters can withstand the pressure of flow piping.
