These valves are the entry level high pressure valves for most hydraulic and pneumatic applications up to 3,000 psi. They are available from 1/8″ to 1″ with a stainless steel valve body and can be made with either compression or NPT valve ends.
The mid-range choice when extra margin is desired. Used commonly in instrumentation panels and test stands. Same size options and ports as above.
Suitable for 6,000 psi working pressure. This style of valve is typically used in Oil & Gas applications, Process Equipment, Wellhead Panels and Chemical Injection Skids.
10,000 psi high pressure needle valves are designed for the highest rating applications including hydraulic presses, high pressure gas lines and downhole tool testing facilities.
Suitable for larger pipe sizes. The flanges make it easier to install and remove the valve during maintenance. The pressure rating is determined by the flange class used.
It is just the right size to put between a pressure gauge and your process. It allows you to isolate a pressure gauge for gauge replacement or calibration without having to shut down your process.

We Send You Drawings Before Production
You don’t want to wait weeks for your high pressure needle valves only to find out they don’t fit your needs. That’s why we provide detailed dimensional drawings of your valve at time of order. The customer reviews the drawing to confirm thread, overall length, port locations and other critical dimensions prior to production. This only adds a day or two to the process, but avoids a lot of future pain.
ASTM Materials, Not Just "Stainless Steel"
“Stainless Steel” is a generic term used by most mill reps. For our high pressure needle valve quotes we specify the ASTM standards which guarantee the chemical and mechanical properties of the specified alloy. Therefore, Type 304 Stainless Steel and Type 316 Stainless Steel meet the properties as outlined in the published specifications and nothing else is substituted as “equivalent”. What you see quoted is what you get.
Three Certificates with Every Order
The quality team would require a copy of the following 3 documents: 1. The MTC (material test certificate) shows the chemistry for each of the individual components. 2. A copy of the hydrotest (test) certificate showing the test pressure achieved and passed. 3. A copy of the seal test (pass/fail) results for the seat test and the packing test. These documents are standard practice and are included with each shipment of our high pressure needle valves and are available free of charge and without delay.

You shouldn’t have to order 100 high pressure needle valves to find out if a supplier is any good. We keep our MOQ low: 10 pieces per size. Order a small batch. Install them. Beat on them. If they work, great, we scale up. If something’s wrong, we fix it. No long-term commitment until you’re ready.

We do 3,000 psi, 5,000 psi, 6,000 psi, and 10,000 psi. The rating depends on size and connection type, smaller sizes and compression ends usually rate higher. If you need something specific, just ask and we will tell you what works.
The 10,000 psi valve has thicker walls, stronger threads, and heavier packing. It’s physically heavier. Do not use a 6,000 psi valve in a 10,000 psi system. It will eventually fail. Match the valve to your system pressure.
Look at what you are connecting to. If you have tubing, get compression ends. If you have pipe threads, get threaded ends. Don’t try to mix them with adapters if you don’t have to, every extra fitting is another place for a leak.
Using a valve rated for 3,000 psi in a 6,000 psi system is a gamble. Maybe it will hold for a while. Maybe it fails the first time someone cranks the handle. When a needle valve fails under high pressure, you get sudden decompression, fluid spray, and a system shutdown.
High pressure needle valves have thicker walls, stronger threads, and packing designed to seal under extreme force. If your system runs above 3,000 psi, buy a valve rated for that pressure. We offer four pressure ratings: 3,000, 5,000, 6,000, and 10,000 psi. Match the valve to your system. Not “close enough.” Exactly what you need.
